Glad you're here. I'm a fine art and portrait photographer located in the Washington DC area. I've always been drawn to photography, but my true love affair with the camera began after my children were born. Feeling the need to capture and document the fleeting moments and details of infancy and early childhood, I set out to learn everything I could about the fundamentals of photography. My kids were my first subjects as I learned to expose, focus and compose. As they've grown older and learned to avoid mom and her camera, I’ve found joy in capturing the same magic for families other than my own.
